Black can represent fear or mystery, darkness and evil and also grief. Black is also considered a formal color and contrasts well with any color. BROWN is considered the color of the earth. WHITE is often used to imply sterility, purity, cleanliness or innocence. It is neutral, therefore white can be paired with any color. It is also a wonderful reflector of light and is widely used for accent and base colors.
